Mad Flava!

Mad Flava brings you big playa taste, from your tounge to your feet, through Jonny & the Ho’s mobile noodle cart to the 3rd annual BRC 5k run(Thurs 8am Center camp), we’ll make the Atkins diet our bitch while satiating your need for speed.

Mage Camp

We are a group of Mages dedicated to evolution and comfort. To that end, our camp offers from snacks and breathing cloths to seminars on divination and meditation.

Mansonian Institute, The

The Mansonian Institute explores the questions: Was The Man created or did he evolve over the years? How does he get to the Playa?

Margarittaville

Tropical paradise comes to BRC. Stop by and enjoy a cold margaritta in a tropical setting complete with music, misters, plenty of good company and fun. Grab the mic and sing along if the mood hits you. The Tiki Bar is expected to be open 12 noon til 6 pm.

Martini Village

Welcome to the next step of natural selection! Here you will find a plthora of activities with Martini Lunches, lollipop-alcoholic natural selections, carbon based libations, swimsuit parties with contests and conseling on the future and the past. Stop in, say hi and explore your own evolution.

Math Camp @ Group W

Math Camp, a safe place for Mathematics. A small, social camp, we offer a place to drink and derive! Home of the Fabulous Electric Cupcakes. Purveyors of crunchy snacks. The Best Friday Morning Sunrise Cocktail Party on the Playa.

Meanderthals

Meanderthals- “Survival of the Fittest, caveman style”. Come battle it out physically with the “Caveman Joust” or mentally with “Giant Jang-off”, and find out if you have what it takes to evolve.

Media Mecca

Media Mecca is the point of contact for all professional media covering the event. In most cases media will have preregistered but some on-site registration is available.

Medusa

Medusa is an open, fun and creative space dedicated to everything Jellyfish… Join us as we celebrate the creature that found its evolutionary groove over 650 million years ago. Activities taking place in our pulsating “Jellie Bloom Dome” include the Ms. Medusa Pageant, afternoon tea dances & more.

Metamorph

Three simple three-sided wooden pyramids in a triangular orientation which will be built upon, interconnected, and decorated over the course of the week with lumber, found materials, and fabrics. This will essentially “evolove” over the week as people add onto it, going along with the main theme.

Midnight Poutine

Direct from Montrιal, Quιbec, the Black Rock Poutine Company presents an amazing Quιbec delicacy that has to be tasted to be believed. We combine the awesome powers of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds into the ideal late night snack. Come get some!

Midnight Ridazz

Roll into the Midnight Ridazz camp for bike blessings from our ordained ministers, maintain your locomotive self-sufficiency with mentored DIY bicycle repair, join us on organized bicycle tours, and stick around for some sexy, sexy bike talk.

MidNite Popcorn Palace, The

The triumphant return of The MidNite Popcorn Palace! We’re Back! Serving-up fresh hot popcorn to the people. The Popcorn Palace first appeared on the Playa in ’99’ as a mobile pushcart. In ‘2000’ ‘2001’ & ‘2004’ we were a theme camp. This year we Evolve into a theme camp and mobile popcorn service.

Mind Shaft Society

The Mind Shaft Society is a collaboration of artistic scientists. We go on an Expedition every winter, then recreate and present the findings at Burning Man every year.

Ministry of the Magical Mustache

Miracle Fruit Camp

Miracle Fruit Camp brings a “taste-full” element to BRC. Think cold, fruity, refreshing sweetness falling from the sky and into your mouth during the hottest part of the day while being fanned, spritz’d and told how wonderful you are by pleasant pranksters wearing Carmen Miranda hats.

Mischief Camp

Here to serve for our 5th year, welcome to Mischief Camp! Mischief Camp is the only spot on the Esplanade to feature live video feeds from across the playa. Come look for yourself and see parts of the city you’ve never seen before. Come play our shocking reaction & skill games. Out on the town looking for something to do? Bring your friends over to Mischief Bar.

MiscreAnt Hill

In the theory of evolution MiscreAnt Hill aims to take the communal camp experience to the next level by manufacturing a unique canvas shade structure to focus our antics under one rooftop. We bring the music, the weird, and the creativity, all in the spirit of MisAdventure.

Mission Country Club

Savor the flavors of San Francisco’s Mission district out on the playa….Pretentious coffees interspersed with greasy gorditas, high octane sangria, Latin Beats and cheap Mexican beer. And don’t miss our 5th Annual Sangria SoundClash Party on Thursday @ 4:20 for bottomless Sangria and Latin beats.

Modern Religion, The

Scientology, a truly new and modern religion for the 21st century, comes to Black Rock City to demonstrate techniques proven to help one overcome the problems of our every changing world. No matter the problem, something can be done about it.

Mohammeds Mini Martini and Erotica

When the sun reaches its zenith and is beating down on the citizens of Black Rock City, head over to the coolest Bedouin Palace on the playa and relax with an ice cold martini while lounging on pillows and poufs. Peruse our book of true erotic stories and if the spirit moves you write one yourself.

Moist

MOIST returns participatory plaster casting to the playa! Visitors to our camp will be the molds by which this year’s plaster effigy evolves.

The Mondo Spider camp is devoted to those who warship 8 legged walking machines. Come by for a drink and join the ritual as we unleash the Mondo Spider every day at sunset.

Monticello

The Wigs welcome you to our home, Monticello, an epicenter of unbridled debauchery, pseudo-aristocratic absurdism, unfathomable sexiness, and pantaloon-shaking madness.

Moonbow Camp

When the Full Moon shines upon Yosemite Falls, the Moonbow there, creates a special place of quiet reflection that represents America’s great parks and Nature. We’re campers and activists that will have quiet space, yoga, crystal singing bowls, a gay pride parade for todays evolving gay community.

Moonrock

After focusing on integrated theme camps for many years, Moonrock has decided to expand its field of vision and bring the playa a spectrum of smaller wonderful units: an interactive and multifunctional art vehicle, community workshops, bad ideas, and a fierce dedication to heckling and shenanigans.

Mootopia

Graceful grazing lands for a modest myriad of mootopians and whomever might meander by, we nestle next to blazing daytime beats and roam in search of nighttime feats, always eager to wander into the great moo yonder and discover delicious adventures for all.

Mothers of InVENTion

This camp is like talking to your mom, only with more laughs and less guilt. Join these smart, sassy apron-wearing moms for some lemonade and cookies and chat about love, life and bucket lists. Take home a self-decorated ”bucket-list-on-a-bag” or help with our “Evolution of the Bra” art project.

Mudskipper Cafe

They came from Sea to Land, from the Uncharted Depths of Lake Lahotan, to the open Playa just to serve you frosty cold beverages! The Mudskippers will be serving primordial beverages and Fortune Readings at the Mudskipper Cafe, and at Camp Celestial Bodies Bar!

Museum of Unnatural Selection, The

The Museum of Unnatural Selection is a museum style diorama built within the staple building block of industrial art spaces – a 20′ shipping container. A sensual cornucopia of interactive fire, sound, light, and metal sculpture; the museum contains sculptural elements that represent an alternative evolutionary perspective. A life-sized tree, an ethereal woman, animals, fish, flowers, pond and stream invoke many questions. What could be? What might not have been? What almost never was? From afar you merely see a box in the distance. Fire, light and sound emanate, but what lies inside? You arrive to find that in this unnatural universe it is you that controls the light, sound, fire, and creatures. A museum unlike any you have visited before. Created by 90% recycled materials at NIMBY by a group of artists and volunteers who know its better if you make IT together.

MUTANT ALIEN BEAUTY SPA

The MUTANT ALIEN BEAUTY SPA is a camp at Burning Man. FACE and BODY PAINTING will be done by an artist who has been trained in women’s airbrush make up. Anything from GEISHA with Lotus Blossoms to RAGING FLAMES and ‘realistic’ ALIEN skins will be offered, and a variety of face designs and masks.

Mutant Bikology Camp

Featuring members of Portland’s finest bike-club, Zoobomb, providing Bike Fun to the citizens of Black Rock City. Ride our mutant bicycle creations, compete in our BRC Bike Fair (Wednesday), and learn to ride the Tall-bike obstacle course.

Mutant Mo's Last Chance Saloon

Mutant Mo’s Last Chance Saloon! The most dangerous bar in the universe. No one will look twice at that third arm here, partner. Hey, sometimes even a mutant wants to go where everyone knows its name.
