Radio Electra

Radio Electra 89.9 FM We put the ROCK in Black Rock City. Offering an eclectic array of music, mayhem and commentary. Camps, villages, and artists wishing to make radio announcements about events on the playa are welcome to stop in or contact us by email prior to the Burn.

Rainbow

Our camp is made up primarily of gay men, we will be offering a fun and creative environment for social interaction. We will be hosting the “Jack in the Sandbox” drive up window, and the Purple Rain party.

RAIR-Return of Arson Island Resort

Visit Arson Island Resort, a Pirate Village for Burning Man 2010. Come inside to find booty, treasure, debauchery, and a never-ending bevy of music and performance. Have a turn on the Roast-o-Rama bus and show your friends how surly you can be. Get angry, get surly, grunt and get down.

Raising the Dead

Ever wanted to raise the dead? We have and you can too! Learn the secrets behind compressing and shocking life back into dead people, dead conversations, dead wood, dead air, dead reconning, dead beats, dead members, dead doorknobs, dead robots. Bring out your dead! Workshops and encounters!

Random and Unnecessary Camp

Offering Random and Unnecessary adventures on the playa for the 2nd year. Including Tourist Day, croquet, eTARDIS Mini Dance Club, photo cutouts, pie shots, movies, art, superhero water battles, glow cocks, a chill lounge, fire and beyond, you’re sure to satisfy your most random cravings here!

The re:BIRTH Village is prepared 2 answer this question with art/sound, 2 show the wonderful & beautiful people of the Playa how they can create a paradigm shift in their home ‘Metropolis’ thru sustainability = freedom.

Reality Check TV

Reality Check TV brings a Rock and Roll nightclub to the metropolis of Black Rock City! Meet the crew of RCTV, see video clips from the archive, win prizes and become part of the show! Run a camera, jam on stage, hold an interview – all at ‘no cost to you, the video viewer!’.

RECLINERS

Relaxing on recliners is a typical activity in a Metropolis. We have raised the bar by experiencing Black Rock City from mobile recliners.

Red Carpet Camp

Our camp guarantees that the portapotties will be even more unforgettable for a select group of lucky individuals. All and sundry are welcome in our camp to relax, reminisce, and plan and execute shenanigans.

Red Lightning

Red Lightning is intended to serve as a catalyst to help transform our connection with Earth, Spirit and each other. Through events, workshops, and ceremony, we provide connections with other community members and access to critical information for our collective evolution and awakening consciousness.

Red RubberTattoo

We will render your gorgeous body gorgeouser through the artful, playful, application of our rubber stamp designs onto said body. After dust storms, if you are lucky enough to be near our camp, you can avail yourself of our industrial eyewash stations to make your dust-caked eyeballs feel brand new.

Relaxomatic Plushitorium

Welcome to the Relaxomatic Plushitorium, the Camp of Doom. Come taste Glory in giant puddles of pillows. Come to our OASIS, but please don’t feed the unicorns! We’re plush on many levels. Beware! We offer soft, inviting beats, and a cuddly, relaxing atmosphere. You may never leave…… RELAX!

Resurrection Camp

It’s about getting back up. A collection of ridiculous individuals from Dallas, who conspire to create growth on many levels, using: mad design inspired inventions an overinflated budget We like to build cool stuff. Some are artists, a few do burnery burlesque circus stuff, and there’s some DJ’s.

Retrofrolic

Retrofrolic is an adult oriented camp of Pink, Pain and Pleasure. Games with prizes and games for fune with adult themes along with sensual exercises of music, massage and masochism. Listen to classic rock n roll while dancing, drinking and dominating. Come in for an unusual experience with louche.

Revofuckinlution

Revofuckinlution [rev??f?k n lo? sh ?n] – ORIGIN: Eugene OR 1 a place to chill. 2 a camp to learn weird wonderful skills. 3 a nighttime bar with the best beer on the playa. 4 beats for your earhole. Can I get fuck yeah, please?!

RhythmWave

The RhythmWave theme camp provides conscious dance and movement to the Metropolis of Black Rock City, with several sets of daily ecstatic dance (including 5Rhythms, Dancing Freedom, contact improv), conscious movement, sitting meditation, breathwork, and yoga. Come sweat your prayers with us at RW!

Rickshaw Shenanigans

A place where transportation is at your the tip of your toes – beautiful, fit, co-operative college kids transport you from portal to portal on our chariots of fire aka rickety bicycle rickshaws. The shenanigans… yoga, capoiera, playing galore, and more!

Risa

RISA is just like the resort planet from Star Trek, renowned for its breezes and easy-going, uninhibited sexuality. Our main attraction at Risa this year is the Peacock Shuttle.

Robonia Camp and Turjmahal

Robonia Camp is the home of Turjmahal, a nomadic mechanical pleasure dome in the form of a turtle. By day stop by to relax, by night be on the lookout for Turjmahal roaming the playa looking to hijack your mind with its music,lights and performances.

Robot Heart

A global crew bringing electronic music and LED-based visual art to the playa via a fleet of mobile art buses. Enjoy love and beats in high fidelity sound as we roll around, kicking up dust by day, and illuminating the skies by night. Find us on the playa by following your Robot Heart.

Robot Invasion Survival

Every Metropolis has its central energy source, for 2010 Root Society transforms into this futuristic urban dystopia. The “underground” meets the “tower of Babel” in a clash of epic proportion. Our geodesic domes and traditional native Tipis morph into a massive sprawling futuristic mega-city!

Rose Brigade is a Portland based collective of joyful Playa rompers that seek to explore the amazing splendor that sprawls out before us. Rue Morgue

The Rue Morgue, durring the day learn to fold origami cranes dedicated to your loved ones, have a wedding in the morgue to celebrate a new commitment, or a memorial for a fallen friend. During the night step up to the bar for some drinks for the dead and infected. Rue Morgues Zombie Bar.
