Tarwater

Tarwater, home of the Rat Taxi, returns with The Tarry Night Bowl, the Ladder Toss game and the inaptly named Corn Hole game. You can pick out clothes at Lady S’ Boutique where you don’t have to do anything in exchange. The Labyrinth and the Light Garden will be lit for your nocturnal wanderings. Be on the lookout for books.

Tasty Noodles

Stop by Tasty Noodles in the afternoon Tuesday through Friday for beer, dancing, and shade. Bounce on our trampoline, swing on our swing set, and paint a picture in the Noodle Doodle Dome!

Temple O'Flying Spaghetti Monster

We are a comfortable neighborhood pub with a rockin’ attitude. In honor of his noodley goodness the Friendly Fire Bar will administer ice cold libations and groovin’ tunes for your mind, body and spirit. Take a ride 4 stories up in the Sky Lounge and view the Playa with a much higher perspective. The Flying Spaghetti Monster welcomes all, so stop by and be touched by his Noodly Appendage.

Temple of Anointment

Bring your playa ravaged hides to the Temple of Anointment for some much needed organic moisturizing care and UV protection made with the same ingredients as you are. Don’t leave with out a tube or two of Don’t Burn, Man! organic sunscreen, for future use and a memento of this year in Black Rock Desert.

Temple of Grace, The

The Temple of Grace is intended to be a spiritual and sacred space for memorials, reflection, celebration, and to commemorate life transitions. It is a special work of art given to the community; it is a spiritual refuge where thousands gather, each to engage with it in his or her own way. The community comes to write their memorials and place tokens of their transitions, and it is burned at the end of the festival in a tradition of releasing them by fire.

Things That Swing

Including but never limited to: swings! hammocks! pendulums! people! We’re hosting events on dome construction and social grooming (adults only), and we welcome you to step under our shade any time of day or enjoy our camp fire at night.

This Camp is Bullshit

Bullshit! is the new awesome and this camp is full of it! We are hosting Salsa Dance workshops/parties throughout the week; also stop by anytime to turn your bike into a raging bull so that you can stampede with us through the streets of Black Rock city during the 4th annual Running of the Bulls, plus Asshole Karaoke, Wheel of Consequences, Bullshit Games and much more. So check the playa schedule, because This Camp is Bullshit!

Thumper

A sound camp for things that go THUMP in the night. A stimulating communal dance party where intimacy isn’t sacrificed for sound.

Thunder Gumbo

Thunder Gumbo is a Brooklyn based art collective and underground event production crew founded in 2009 to combine elements from as many musical and cultural scenes across Brooklyn as possible. Our central project involves taking a decommissioned US army truck and building a multi-platform abstract art piece that evokes a dialog about the relationship between the evolution of civilization and the passage of time.

Tribes That May Be

Tribes That May Be is a two-fold project. It features a subtle physical artifact in the form of a small steamer trunk that seemingly fell off a trade caravan ages ago and an interactive, ethereal piece accessible via mobile device that challenges the participant to consider the Ten Principles of Burning Man in a different light via an exploration of its history and a possible future. The chest acts as a landmark to tie the two pieces, the real and the imaginary, together.

TRILLIUM is an interactive rolling ball kinetic sculpture. It is a celebration of the beauty that can be found in human designed mechanisms and structures and is inspired by a flower that is nature’s celebration of the number 3.
