Waggle Lounge Meadery

Our busy bees have spent the last year brewing an ancient, 8,000 year-old libation called mead (“honey wine”). The Waggle Lounge Meadery, home to the honeycombed Infinity Bar, is a gifted sweet-space for rowdy and fun interactions, or simply partaking in an ancient chilled ritual with our Milo’s Mead. Daily happy hours and specials!

What'sYourSign? Camp

Our camp and workshop will be open 24/7 to every citizen of Burning Man to paint signs, create personal and communal works of art, use any/all of our materials, hang signs, report missing street signs, join a street sign replacement squad, lounge, tell stories, lounge some more, drink tea, enjoy hummus, listen to some music, connect, and relax.

People can use our wood, paint, markers, and more to create signs for any purpose! Whether they want to make signs for personal expression, camp use, public statements, camp decorations, sign replacement, or any other practical or impractical use for a sign. We come prepared with blank wood in various sizes, and pre-cut street signs that are painted with a white base, so that we can quickly create new street signs that have gone missing.

Where The Sidewalk Ends

Where the Sidewalk Ends is a theme camp loosely inspired by the poetry of Shel Silverstein. Silverstein’s style is playful and encourages children to spend time playing outside, and to use their imagination.

Would you too like to become a master of poetic words? We invite our fellow Black Rock residents to attend one of our Mad Libs sessions, outlined on our camp schedule, which is posted prominently at the front desk.

Fancy a beverage? Visit our official motel watering hole, Aunt Sally’s bar, which will host multiple Poetry Happy Hours throughout the week to quench the thirst of weary passersby. Oh, and don’t be alarmed if you get caught in a spooky dance party by the pool with one of our resident hotel haunts.

After the Burn, the sculpture will be publicly installed in California. The wings span 80 ft. across , and are built out of recycled metal, iridescent panels and thousands of LED lights.

Our goal is to create a space for our friends and family to experience the playa to its fullest. Providing everything needed to survive on the playa. While we provide everything, we do expect and count on our members to pitch in to build, strike and keep things running during the event.

Providing everything to survive allows our campmates to focus on amazing projects and epic performances.

We accept virgins and veterans alike. Some of our crew have been burning since 97′. And we love to watch the virgins as minds get blown by all the new experiences.
