The time has come, and the clock is ticking away minutes as we countdown to March 1st. Are you ready to get your Burning Man tickets? This is a special JRS dedicated to tickets and information to help you prepare in the final countdown to Burning Man 2004.
All tickets go on sale Monday March 1, 2004.
Sunday night the clock will say 11:59 PM on February 29. When the clock hits 12:00 midnight (which turns to AM) the day changes to March 1st. That is when tickets will go on sale. 12:00 AM (Pacific Standard Time – ie West Coast time), the start of March 1st.
Most tickets are being offered online in 2004. To learn all about the ticket process and where and how you can buy tickets go to this page of the website.
WHEN TICKETS GO ON SALE, SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TICKET HOME PAGE TO PURCHASE TICKETS!
Read below for our two payment options ONLY accepted for $165 tickets.
DIRECT ACCOUNT DEBIT
We recommend this option, since it is the fastest and easiest. All you will need is your bank account number and your bank routing number. You can find this printed on your check. We accept checking or savings accounts. We will ask you for your driver’s license number for security reasons. Direct Account Debit will only work for transactions within the US. All personal information is encrypted and secure. To see a sample check, click here:

PAYPAL
1. When tickets go on sale, go to tickets.burningman.com to start your ticket purchasing process. Choose PayPal as your ticket purchasing option on the checkout page and enter your information into our system. When you click the ‘Buy Tickets’ button, it will direct you to PayPal.
After you complete your purchase on PayPal, you MUST hit the “CONTINUE” button at the end to complete your order — this will bring you to the confirmation screen back on the tickets.burningman.com website.
2. You do NOT need to worry about what email address to pay Burning Man for your ticket. The transaction will happen directly through our website — so it will fill this in for you during your purchase process.
3. PayPal *just* created a new feature last week. You now have the option to purchase tickets using a credit card *without* having to sign up for a PayPal account first. Please note, if you have a pre-existing PayPal account this option will NOT work. This is only for people who do NOT have a PayPal account. If you choose to do this, you MUST hit the button, ‘Return to Merchant’ on your PayPal receipt page to complete your order.
RECEIVING YOUR TICKETS IN THE MAIL
Due to the expected high volume of orders, we ask that you are patient about the time it may take to receive your tickets. You will receive an email, once your tickets are shipped.
