2025 Temple Grant Timeline
- September 24, 2024 at noon Pacific Time: the online application for the 2025 Temple Grant opens
- October 9, 2024, 11:00am-12:30pm Pacific Time: Temple Grant Q&A session with Burning Man Art Dept. staff and previous Temple artists and stakeholders (RSVP to participate)
- November 14, 2024 at 5pm Pacific Time: deadline for submissions
- December 23, 2024: notifications will be sent to applicants by this date
Applicants must have a Burner Profile in order to submit a proposal. You can create a profile now by visiting profiles.burningman.org, clicking “Sign Up” and answering a few questions, including your contact information. A link to the form to submit a proposal will appear on Burner Profiles under Burning Man Art Grants. This link will be available until the deadline.
Maquettes: Due to a dispersed grant committee, we are no longer able to accept maquettes or small models via mail or hand delivery. If you build a maquette, you may submit an image or video of it as part of your grant application.
Please note that it is mandatory that you submit your proposal through our online process; we are not able to accept applications via email or mail. Late or incomplete proposals will not be accepted.
