Blind Burners Tabletop Models
Blind Burners’ gallery of tabletop models includes two models of this year’s Man Pavilion and the Temple of the Heart, along with Trust by Paige Tashner. The gallery also includes scale models of Ursa Minor produced by Jen Lewin, and Justice by Jenny Mount.
Participants can explore some of this year’s large scale art through touch. The project was originated by Blind Burners to help Burning Man’s art community to remove barriers to accessibility, and to invite participants to experience art through their more instinctive sense of touch, and challenge assumptions around art being a predominantly visual medium.
Faradays Gallery
Faradays Gallery is a 19 ft. tall, conceptual steel tree featuringng brilliant multi-hued spinning leaves and brightly colored geometric patterns. This climbable, interactive piece is an oasis for relaxation & reflection and offers a colorful counterpoint to the harsh desert environment. Once inside the piece one will see that is also serves as a gallery space for diverse works of art.
