Tip of the Iceberg
Conventional wisdom is that the Clitoris is a small fleshy nub under a labial hood at the top of the vulva – but the truth is that tiny head is just the tip of the Clitoral iceberg. The complete Clitoral anatomical structure – including veins, nerves & their functions – was suppressed, omitted or marginalized until recently. Monumentalizing this misunderstood & mysterious piece of anatomy, we hope our sculpture will educate, empower, & honor its rightful place in biology.
