Art Support Services (affectionately known as “ASS”) made significant changes to its team and services in 2013. With a new manager at the helm, the team was reimagined and restructured to include more members with skill sets in building, engineering, and art.
Combining these new people with several veteran team members, the team took on new tasks and functions to support artists on playa. While the growth in art and population could have threatened the level of support offered to artists, this team rose to the challenge, adjusting their work structure and points of integration with DPW so that artists received more support and guidance than ever before.
We’re looking forward to seeing how this team will continue to grow in 2014 and beyond.
