Beaverton
Camp Beaverton is an intentional, experimental, and experiential Burning Man community theme camp. We are a group of queer women/trans/genderqueer/lesbian/bisexual/heterosexual/etc… or folks who are simply as wayward as the playa is dusty. We celebrate sexuality, self exploration, and respect for one’s journey on through this life. Our goal is to provide a safe space for queer women and trans folks on and off-Playa. We encourage education, participation, inquiry, conversation, and self-reflection. We extend our goals to the greater Black Rock community by hosting workshops and social events.
BeeYond:
WeCharge! is the next evolution of the camp formerly known as bEEcHARGE!!! and before that rEcHARGE!!!. We have been buzzing the playa for more than 20 years now, and we are ready for more!
This year please come by to sing your lungs out with Live Band Karaoke, or to hop on to a Playa Adventure Tour (guided shenanigans), or to visit the Moonshine Bar with the Golden Guy cluster, or to hop on one of our two art cars: the Apis Inlusio and the Red Hot Beverly.

Beijing Burners Armor Camp
In the tradition of our Mongolian ancestors that ruled China for almost 100 years, we welcome Burners to visit us and engage in a fun game of Archery, rest in our traditional Mongolian yurt afterwards, enjoy Mongolian milk tea, cheese and the hard spirit that Genghis Khan’s troops once drank. For Burners that prefer to be active in the evening, come for a workshop of the traditional Chinese martial art Bajiquan with our artist Lu Ming.

Bike trouble got ya down? Come visit the Bike Gods, where we practice self reliant bike repair 24 hours a day. Our camp features 8 fully equipped workstations and spare parts. We have caring and compassionate bike mechanics to assist you M-F 10am-6pm. Out on the Playa, look for our Bike Gods Taxi Service running yellow tandems and our famous Lanterne Rouge art car.

All the classes you wish were available when you were in school — Black Rock School of Consensual Kink (S.O.C.K.) offers a variety of classes and BDSM tastings by our faculty of trained kinksters. The kink curious of all genders, orientations, and identities (18+) are welcome, see you in class!

The Black Rock Brewery offers daily afternoon tastings that include about 15 different home brews. Cold brewed coffee,hot coffee and tea will be served in the morning hours.

We are creating MAXIMUM participation from gifted patrons!
Expect to participate, and/or take a guerilla course in airbrushing! You may even find yourself running our booth while we sneak away.

Black Rock City Animal Control
We proactively go out and play practical jokes on attendees.
We’ve been capturing people dressed like animals on playa since 2001 and have been losing a battle against the increasing bunny population…our mortal enemies.
We also are the original “You Won Burning Man” porto-potty prank, starting in 2002. We’ve done “Tequila Pit Crew” (dressed as a pit crew timed how fast can you run in and lay down and have us feed you beer and tequila), “Demolition Enforcement Agency” (we had a wrecking ball art car and would service notices to camps then pretend demo them with fake dynamite by doing a countdown that ends in a dance number. We’ve dressed as matadors to mess with cyclists and we hung fake security cameras in your showers last year. Lots more new shenanigans planned for this year as well.
Black Rock City Body & Paint
Come by Black Rock City Body & Paint, tucked away inside of Barbie Death Village, on Friday to have your chests painted by one of our “Playa Picassos” while being serenaded on the piano and drinking the finest of cheap box wine. This is the go-to camp to be decorated for Critical Tits.
Black Rock City Community College
Inspiration in the dust! Come check out our course catalog and find a workshop or lecture that will amuse, stimulate, interest, or inspire you. Learn what the coldest substance on earth is, and experiment with flash-freezing stuff. Practice your inner comic at our improv workshop. Come discuss books over wine and cheese. Attend our “is this your first burn?” workshop and learn how to really connect on the playa. Then on Saturday receive your dubious degree at our end-of-term graduation party.

Black Rock Explorers is an opportunity for for Burner kids and their families to explore new practical and artistic skills, learn about Burner acculturation and join us for playa-cational field trips, events and volunteer opportunities hosted by theme camps and services all over BRC. The Black Rock Travel Agency’s Theme Camp ( established 1999) is the heart and soul of the Black Rock City Municipal Airport, providing a home for wayward pilots, airport volunteers and visitors.
BRTA hosts events throughout the week, such as the Thursday morning Pancake Breakfast and the Saturday Afternoon Airport Cocktail Party. Come by and get a birds eye view of the airport atop the Starport crows nest.

For over a decade BloodyMaryLand has strived to create a relaxing living room environment to serve made-to-order Bloody Marys to the breakfast crowd. Nighttime bars are for partying, ours is a morning and afternoon neighborhood hangout, encouraging visitors to stay a while and chat. We have a shaded bar facing the street, crab flag flying proudly. Our crab emissaries spread the word and make sure our neighbors know the best place to find their liquid breakfasts.
