Hometown: San FranciscoONLY HYGGE
Visit Hygge for a hyggelig time. This is a retreat for those who need to “slapp av litt” or take it easy – have fun, without exhausting yourself in the process. Hygge is best described as a mental state of well being, where everyone has fun, is relaxed and comfortable-all at the same time in a carefully calibrated equilibrium. You can engage in hyggelige activities like board games or just relax in a hammock while having a philosophical conversation with a fellow burner. So join us for some “kos”!

With obscure shenanigans and a taste of the unexpected, the English Ooligans welcome the eccentric with open arms. Our passion is for incredible and diverse dance music – so we’re flying over from the UK with one of the best sound systems ever assembled for electronic music and we’re building an eye-popping production to match.

Are you a photographer/videographer… or want to be? We have 15 professional or semi-photographers/videographers, two or three professional models, a bus driver (for photography field trips in his DMV approved vehicle) and others who will/have serve(d) black rock city that want to teach you or talk with you about photographing Burning Man. We teach “how to” photography classes, we lead photography/videography tours, we embrace the ethics of shooting media at Burning Man, etc. From the very basics of how to take a “camera off auto” and “how to shoot great photos on your smart phone” to advanced stuff like shooting fire breathers and fire dancers at night, you can catch one of several classes each day. Or, You can drop by and ask what is wrong with this piece of shit camera.
Come by and see our schedule of events!
Also, we will have a solar charging station for camera batteries, camera protection and cleaning supplies and a place (out of the dust) where people can change lenses.
