Our mission is to facilitate meaningful conversations and bridge gaps between people who may disagree with each other. Participants that accept the Parley (and agree to its’ rules) shall be under our protection. No one shall be left feeling unwelcome and no one will be silenced or shunned for simply expressing an idea. The topics and framing are done in a way that everyone can have an opinion and a voice. Pinhole Project

Come create large format pinhole photography to capture art installations and the community in the desert! We have built a darkroom every burn since 1999. We host art-making workshops every morning. We take the workshop on an art tour using old-school pinhole cameras loaded with photographic paper. This allows participants to slow down, observe their surroundings more closely, and truly immerse themselves in the process of capturing images. Plus, the unique aesthetic of pinhole photography adds a distinctive charm to the photographs, making them truly special mementos of the experience.

Playa Choir is a performance art piece open to all participants. Come and join us for a rowdy, spirit-lifting musical experience! Radical Inclusion, no audition required! Singers of all skill levels, ages and persuasions are welcome! Also seeking musicians, dancers and aerialists. Rehearsals are Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 pm.
