Jail of Hedone

A large Old Western wooden-fronted enclosed space with air conditioning & cooling misters. This JAIL evokes Hedone, the Goddess of Sensual Pleasure and so, is stocked with cots, giant pillows and couches; snacks, water, cold beer & drinks (including our signature Absinthe-Whiskey craft cocktail) along with a stripper pole, whips & ticklers, great music, the occasional foot bath, along with sporty fun on the side. Come be judged and whipped and relax in A/C with the playa’s only Whiskey/Absinthe cocktail!

Janky Barge

Janky Barge is an art car and all the people who made it. We cruise around the desert and have fun and play music we like. You should get on! We’ll give you a ride to wherever we were already going.

Jelly Dance

DANCE in our lighted “Psychedelic JELLY-fish Forest” which responds to your touch and enjoy live music from the house band or DJ sets late afternoon/evenings. Join us for band “jam-a-longs”, midnight acoustic “Jelly Jams” in the Jelly Forest , sports tourneys, or other activities listed daily at the tower … or very small cocktails at our “Mini-Bar”.

Jipangu/Bijou Boutique

Come visit us for Japanese sake (21+) and drop-in jewelry making workshops. There is also a Boutique to select or share a special piece of jewelry.

Jitters & Bitters

We will be serving cold brew with milk and dairy alternatives and ice! Hangout space in the shade with chairs provided to get out of the sun and get jittery. Service is in the morning and we will have 1 midnight brew session to help stay up until the sunset!

JOBI: Coffee, Tea or Me? serves up fresh quality coffee, teas and hot cocoa every morning at 8:00 a.m. in our coffee lounge beneath a 30 by 10 by 10 Pergola filled with seated benches, rugs, pillows and a puppy pile. C’mon by for coffee, community and conversation.

Joyism

We’ve been a presence at Burning man for 20 years, as Joyism and as a part of Silicon Village, with many people coming up to the art car recognizing it from the past, and coming by our area later to explore as they search for coffee and interaction.
Our coffee kitchen regularly generates lines of people from every corner of the Playa for hours every morning, with hundreds served. We take our coffee seriously!
This year, hundreds of people will interact with our “One Pill makes you Smaller, and One Pill makes you Tall” exhibit, and our “Joyism Cares” tent hands out sunscreen, condoms, pain relievers, hydration and advice. We may have wifi available for those in dire need. Come say Hi!!!

We’re serving up two workshops/parties where you can get your hands sticky making wearable art out of dried, resin-soaked citrus. That’s right—your new accessory is made of fruit.
Come for the fruit, stay for the unfiltered joy, the spontaneous dance-offs, and when you’re dehydrated from all that wiggling, we’ve got you covered with non-alcoholic electrolyte drinks at our “Juice Bar”.
