Uli Baba and the Horny Thieves, also known as Uli Baba’s, is a Burning Man theme camp. In addition to the Ten Principles, our guiding inspiration is hospitality. We are always honored to serve our guests, even while subjecting them to cruel humiliation, voluntary servitude, and wanton drunkenness. Our gorgeous Moroccan tents are lushly furnished with wall-to-wall rugs, benches, and more pillows than you can count. Ours is a hard-working group of camp mates who come together to create a Moroccan oasis in Black Rock City. Auctions always Tuesday through Thursday at 2pm!

Unauthorized Libations is on the surface a quirky little speakeasy bar, but we not just a bar or a lounge, we’re also a secret third thing. A portal to a world of psychedelia, the occult, conspiracy theories and modern folklore, it’s a liminal space where aliens, cryptids and mutants come out to play. After the sunsets, the dance floor bursts to life with guest DJs spinning and dazzling visuals bathing the camp in light. The bar is the beating heart of the camp, pumping out the lifeblood that fuels it all with the best cocktails on playa.

Early in the week, attend New Student Orientation activities. Any day, come relax in our verdant Quad, take in lectures of questionable accuracy, gaze into our night time Planetarium. Later in the week we grant diplomas recognizing unique contributions to your field of study during a personalized graduation ceremony.
