Sea Dragon Camp

We love meeting new people and transport them around the playa on our Fire Breathing Leafy Sea Dragon. Anyone is welcome to hop on and go where Snouty takes us. We do day cruises out to deep playa art installations. Some nights we do “10:00 – 2:00 shuttle bus” to take dancers back and forth between the two big sound camp regions. Sometimes someone hops on board and tells us about something that sounds amazing, so we go.

Seashell Cartel

When Ragnarokk fell into the sea, we fell deep. Now reborn as Seashell Cartel, we are a sunken society of sea creatures, pirates, mermaids, and misfits living beneath the waves of the playa. We believe in mystery, magic, and the beauty that grows when you give things space to transform.

Ours is a world of coral crowns, morning mermaid rituals, barnacled bars, and glittering deep-sea dreams. We dance in the grotto, we marry under kelp, we drink at the Bait Shack, and we welcome all curious travelers who want to explore the weird and wondrous ocean floor with us.

Society for Temporal Preservation

The Society for Temporal Preservation consists of time travelers tasked with preserving the fabric of spacetime. Space time is like a cat though, it takes care of itself. This is good, because now we can leave a bowl of food out and ignore it while we visit Black Rock City. We serve as ambassadors of the temporally free, working to introduce Black Rock City to the magic (science) of time travel.
Our goals include:
– Exposing burners to the wonders (AND HORRORS!) of time travel
– Instilling a sense of hope and responsibility in regards to an individual’s place in time
– Getting the anti-matter out of the carpet. That stuff is STICKY

Spinny’s Playground is a re-imagination of Sticky’s Playground, a Burning Man camp designed to rekindle the childlike joy of physical challenge and play. A diverse group united in creating large-scale art through efficient and sustainable designs, inspiring individuals and other camps to burn stronger.
