This is NOT a list of officially accepted or placed theme camps, it’s a preview of what you’ll find when you get to Black Rock City.
This is the list of Theme Camps who submitted a Placed Camp Questionnaire requesting placement in Black Rock City’s reserved sections for this year and want to be listed publicly.
Placement is announced in Early July. These are the camps Placement is reviewing. To find out what camps did receive placement look through the Playa Info Directory in Center Camp.
To find camps not included on the BRC Map or to find camps that chose not to be listed, you’ll just have to get lucky.

IN YOUR EYES
Many of us come from cultures where physical touch and speaking openly is discouraged. Even in the swirling world of self-expression that is Burning Man, people can easily miss simple human contact. Our camp wants to see each individual spirit, to hear their stories and to offer moments of real connection. We plan to offer:
● 60 seconds or more of Intentional Gazing.
● Five Minutes or more of Focused Listening.
● Generous Hugs – just as long as each visitor wants.
Our camp members will offer these services Noon to 6 PM daily (or pretty much any time we’re in our big round public living room). We want to empower and encourage our campers and visitors to continually offer these same three tokens of human contact.
We are an international group of campers. A few of our campers plan to get the “self-Guided Art Tour” document (in English) from The ARTery and use that document to lead Art tours in their native language. Meeting place and times to be determined.
