School of Black Rock is Black Rock City’s only public school dedicated to teaching the principles of burning man and other useful information including: survival skills, sex education, arts and crafts and physical education.
Graduates get a student photo ID Card and alumni pin. The ID card is valid at all the bars on the playa, provided you are also 21 and bring a valid ID.

We run a Vodka bar. We are from “Russia” and we have a soviet era “nuclear reactor” that we serve drinks from. If you hang out long enough you might get “contaminated” First the “alarms” go off and them we get the “Geiger Counter” and check who has set off the alarms. Once we figure out who is contaminated and indeed “Hot, Hot, Hot,” Then we offer them use of the “Decontamination Station” It looks a little like a dancer pole. once inside and “Activated” Grab the pole. We mist them down with a cool mist from a garden sprayer. We say we are open 12-4, both of them, but we really are open much much more then that. Have a mini “MIRACLE SHOWER” and learn how you can “shower” on playa with two glasses of water and feel squeaky clean. All you need to do is bring your own towel. Slutt Putt is a mini golf course that is open 24 hours a day, every day. This isn’t your grandpa’s club house. the course is much more about letting your inner slut shine and only slightly about golf. Music, shenanigans, and highly encouraged nudity and yelling!
This isn’t your typical game of golf. Each hole has a menu of slutty actions that golfers can do to take strokes off their golf game (e.g. ‘kiss a stranger, -3 strokes’). Synapse Conduit is an Oakland based camp with a goal of making connections and providing a safe space. We have a day bar with killer drinks, participate in building playa art, fun daily activities and more. We are a multi-generational adult camp ranging in age from 23 to 63. In conjunction with our sister camp Corn Stars we run a deep playa bar and encourage visitors to our camps to check out both groups. Come by and visit for a drink, have your fortune told, your tarot read, henna applied and leave feeling like the king/queen of the playa.
