This listing represents camps who submitted a Camp Placement Questionnaire requesting placement in Black Rock City and who wish to be listed publicly.

This listing does not represent camps who have been placed. Placement is reviewing these camps, and we will announce decisions by early July.

To find camp locations when you’re at Burning Man, refer to the BRC Map & Guide distributed by Greeters, the theme camp maps and Directory at Playa Info, and Civic Kiosks in city plazas.

2019 Theme Camps

Y2K

Close your eyes, the year is 1999, the date, December 31st, the time…. 11:59pm. Is the world as we know it going to end when the clock strikes 2000! We don’t know (we do), so lets all get together and celebrate like it might!? Leave your cell phones at the door and get on the dance floor. Maybe take a stop at our digital pet petting zoo, visit the Sour Patch Kid Adoption Bureau. Page us if you wanna come.

Come hang out, grab a drink, enjoy an ecclectic music selection and shout “Yeah Man!”. Activities include dance parties, fire dancing, workshops and more.

Yellowstone Burners

The Yellowstone Burners are honored to bring our mutant vehicle, Saddle Up!, to the citizens of Black Rock City from our home in Cody, Wyoming. The upper deck of our full sized school bus is called the Watering Hole Saloon, serving electrolyte drinks, tea, pickle juice shots, and water to all who come on board. Saddle Up! can carry lots of people as well as 130 gallons of water, so don’t be shy! Look for the giant saddle and belly up to our fabulous hydration bar or visit us at our camp where we love to chat about our other home, just miles from Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone Burners

The Yellowstone Burners are excited to invite you onto the upper deck of the old west styled Watering Hole Saloon where we provide shade, cozy seating, beautiful views, and delicious hydration drinks. Don’t let the heat of the day get you down! You can even play cards and other games from the interior of our bus and we always have a misting bottle or two on hand. Come on by to enjoy this unique experience of old west hospitality. We’re officially open 9ish to noonish, Monday through Friday but we’re happy to let you climb on board and have some refreshment any time we’re around camp. Please come by and say hello!

Yes Please

To the weary and the dreary, we provide an oasis—a place of refuge—that will recharge your batteries, fill your soul with love, and leave you calling out “YES PLEASE!” To the frisky, the floozy, or otherwise freaky, we supply a fertile fellowship of sexual misfits that celebrate all types of consensual carnal connections. To anyone else needing a friend, a word of advice, or maybe just a place to dance the night away, we’re here for you, too. Come chill in our revitalizing sanctuary, experience our inclusive oasis of sex-positivity, queer empowerment, and love. Yes Please is the answer to every question!
