The Sacred Song Teahouse is a temple for devotional singing on the playa.

There are many traditions of devotional singing, sometimes known as bhajans or kirtan, which help to quiet the mind so that the heart can open to the divine, allowing us to taste the blissful reality that is our true nature. Rather than being a performance in which the audience listens to musicians, it is a participatory spiritual practice in which everyone is encouraged to sing and express their inner joy.

The Sacred Song Teahouse is a Burning Man camp dedicated to creating and maintaining a serene temple oasis for joining our voices and diving into the Divine… together. School of Black Rock is Black Rock City’s only public school dedicated to teaching the principles of burning man and other useful information including: survival skills, sex education, arts and crafts and physical education.

ShitStorm 2.0

All life forms eat and poop.

When we release our payload into the crapper our excrement reveals that we are shitting money made of plastic.

A large brown 90′ turd shaped into a dollar sign has a toothy mouth for an entrance, and after a few bends, a crawl-out anus. Flies and other bugs hover over the outside, and weird microflora roam the inside, all made of plastic and other rejected materials from our collective consumer culture.

Micro-plastics have entered our gut, bloodstream, lymph, and brain, to the detriment of our long term personal health, in addition to our collective environment. Fecal factoids, on table linens, embellish the inside to flush out relatable details of our need to unloose the caboose, offload some freight, or curl some pipe.
