If you’re interested in applying for funding for an art installation bound for the annual Burning Man event in Black Rock City, you must first submit a Letter of Intent which will allow the Grant Committee to select which projects will be invited to submit a full proposal.

It’s mandatory that you submit your LOI through our online process; we are not able to accept applications via email or mail.

All of the questions on the 2026 BRC Honoraria LOI form are available in a Preview Document. We recommend that you make a copy of the preview doc, compose your responses first in that separate document, and then paste them into the online submission form.

- October 15 , 2025 12:00pm Pacific time: Online LOI form for BRC 2026 opens
- Q&A Sessions (RSVP to participate):
- October 7, 2025: 10:00 – 11:30 AM PDT
- October 20, 2025: 12:00 – 1:30 PM PDT
- November 3, 2025: 4:00 – 5:30 PM PST
- November 13, 2025 5pm Pacific time: LOI submission deadline
- December 19, 2025: LOI notification
- January 15, 2026 5pm Pacific time: Deadline for full proposals (accepted by invitation only)
- Early March 2026: Selected grantees are notified
