Spanning 106 locations in 36 U.S. states and 34 countries, the Regional Network brings the Burning Man creative culture to life year-round through local events, grassroots civic projects, co-learning opportunities and more.
Events With an Impact
Regional Network community leaders currently organize over 80 unique official Regional Events annually, ranging from single-day gatherings to multi-day celebrations. In 2024, more than 100,000 people participated in these events, surpassing the population of Black Rock City for any given year. These gatherings also generated $1.77 million in art grants in 2024!
Regional Contacts
Volunteer Regional Contacts connect and engage local communities around the 10 Principles and ethos of Burning Man through a variety of radically inclusive community-building activities and events. From casual meetups and collaborative art projects to civic engagement initiatives and extensive campouts, they support their local community’s co-creation of meaningful experiences and personal connections.
Collaborative Learning and Leadership
Together, Regional Contacts and community leaders heighten their impact through collaborative learning and sharing at events like the Regional Network Forum, gatherings produced by Local Leadership Event Organizers, and international conferences such as the European Leadership Summit. The Meta Regional Committee, composed of senior Regional Contacts and community leaders, further strengthens global connections by supporting collaboration, communication, and strategic vision.
