Join us July 21st for a call on the four year anniversary of when Burning Man Project published the 2030 Sustainability Roadmap. We’ll discuss progress towards our three goals to Handle Waste Ecologically, Be Regenerative, and Be Carbon Negative.
We’ve met our benchmarks for the present juncture in the roadmap:
✔️ Measured our emissions
✔️ Supported decentralized teams and the efforts of green camps and projects
✔️ Oriented the Fly Ranch design challenge around sustainability
✔️ Identified and supported effective offsets
✔️ Started solar pilots
✔️ Hosted a series of sustainability gatherings
✔️ Reduced our fossil fuel use on the way to end fossil fuel use
✔️ Started landfill contribution reductions

We could address climate change if every country, community, and organization met Burning Man Project’s three sustainability goals.
