Create Your Camp

Camps are the heart of community in Black Rock City. The majority of people who participate in the event are part of planned, registered camps known as theme camps, or more broadly, as placed camps. 

Theme camps are groups of participants who come together to provide a service, entertainment, or other interactive experience to share with the Black Rock City community. It is not required that you be part of one; Open Camping and Walk-In Camping also exist for any individual or group to find a spot for themselves without pre-registering or joining a camp.
