Visitors to our dungeon will see that we are hard at work trying to produce new dragons or chickens, we are not sure what we will get next. Our best hatchling grew large and protects our castle. His fire comes from his comb though, not his mouth. Nothing has gone quite right in the hatchery, but dancing in the dungeon and on the top of the castle will make up for our dragon-less frustration!

As a result, I undertook a huge responsibility to create a brand new art car that would display my artistic vision. I started building the art car in 2016. Since it was my first year building an art car, I under estimated the amount of time it took to prepare something of that magnitude. In 2016, I was responsible for the design, fabrication, transportation, sound and operation of the vehicle. In 2017, I reached out to every professional I knew for advise. Fortunately, I got assistance with sound, lighting and construction. The result was spectacular. Our team did exceptional in preparing the vehicle.

Little Red Rocket
By: Little Red Rocket by Shepherd
Hometown: Ruston, Louisiana
There’s something about changing an objects history or its inherent value that I find interesting. I like to invite viewers to re think the way an object is used by giving new life to the discarded, but also who I am as a person who always trys to do more with less.
The Little Red Rocket carries the same idea. Besides some of the lighting no new materials were purchased for the direct build of this MV. Everything was resourced from reclaimed wood, personal items I wasn’t using all that much, and left over art supplies. I collect a lot of things so when I go to create I have something to start with. Everything I had happen to be red and then..it just built itself.

Hometown: Farmington, Utah
I started out with a two older snowblowers, eliminated everything but one of the motors, and replaced the drivetrain and reoriented the motor to accommodate a new, customer drive linkage assembly.
I named her Tracks because she started out as two old snowblowers having tank track style wheels, slaving away and working hard. Now those tracks have been repurposed to be shared among all Burners and the Burning Man community, for those that want to climb on for a ride or a picture. Tracks will provide a unique experience that our camp and others can enjoy.

TRION
By: FOMO team
Hometown: Mexico City
A moving temple of light and sound, based on sacred geometry and designed as a musical stage. At its core is the triangle — the fundamental form of the structure and a central symbol in sacred geometry, representing balance, ascension, and connection.
It creates an immersive experience through music, light, and collective energy, bringing people together and uniting them through sound in a shared moment in the desert.
Blending ancient symbolic ideas with modern technology, it becomes more than an art car — a luminous triangular form moving through the night, creating moments of energy, connection, and collective experience.

WarPony
By: WarPony by Death Guild Thunderdome
Hometown: California City, CA
An open air 1974 Chevy Blazer with a wooden roof is EXACTLY what we need for our Thunderdome fleet. She’s got ridiculous light bars up, down, and sideways. Maybe we’ll add some whimsy… like a tire swing – we
haven’t had one of those in … quite some time. WarPony has ample seating for all the folks we can cram on her, and a
little bit more seating on top of that. Please. Please don’t sit on the hood. Otherwise, you can scramble all around her
and. Well. Tetanus is at your own risk. She’s tall and fun!

Wet Dream
By: Wet Dream
Hometown: Boulder Creek
The Wet Dream was previously sea worthy vessel, now transformed into a playa vessel by mutating a fiber glass 1957 Dorset power boat with a 1969 VW Beatle. From interior and exterior, what is left from the VW beetle is not visible-visually is floating on the playa.
The Wet Dream has LED lighting. Blue for water effect around the bottom of the boat, mutable colors around the deck and mass, and red on staircase and hand rails. On top of the mass 18′ off the playa is a crows nest with a multi colored LED party light sending out a 150′ array of illumination down to the sea around the Wet Dream. Cabin ceiling, black light illuminating a hand painted night sky. There are lantern’s and other spontaneous lighting affects as well )'(

Ziggy Star Duster
By: Marc Abouaf & Vernon Rich (Ziggy Star Duster)
Hometown: San Diego
Ziggy Starduster is a retro desert speeder inspired by the classic sci fi vehicles many of us remember from childhood. It started life as a small convertible and was rebuilt with a custom welded frame and aluminum body panels to create a low floating landspeeder style vehicle. The glowing rear engines and ground lighting give it the feeling that it is hovering just above the playa at night. During the day it rolls across the dust like something from another world. Our goal is simple, bring a little desert sci fi imagination to Black Rock City and share rides and good vibes with fellow burners along the way.
