Midburn is the Burning Man regional organized by the local community in Israel. For five days each year, a temporary city emerges in the Negev desert: a culmination of participants’ Communal Efforts, boundless creativity, Civic Responsibility, visionary art and Radical Self-expression. 

June of 2014 saw the birth of the first Midburn regional with 3000 participants from 12 countries. The second Midburn, which is expecting over 6,000 participants, will take place in 2015 on May 20-24.
