The United States is home to many active regional communities, each shaped by its own local culture, geography, and ways of bringing people together. Select a state from the menu to explore its Regional Contacts, events, and year-round projects.
Central Texas played an early role in the Regional Network’s history when George “Tiki” Paap and local Burners organized a small fundraiser to support Burning Man, and people drove hours to participate despite a heavy rainstorm. That act of generosity helped pave the way for the first Regional Contact and, later, the first official Regional Event, Burning Flipside in Austin, Texas. Today, you’ll find that same spirit across the country, with people welcoming newcomers, creating gatherings, and carrying Burning Man culture into everyday life.
