Welcome home, Kansas Burners!

The spirit of Burning Man is alive and growing in the Sunflower State, through a network of Burners, artists, makers, and community organizers who gather throughout the state and across the broader Midwest region.

Kansas is home to two community-created Regional Events: This Event Is Cancelled (T.E.I.C.), held near Topeka, and Resonance, held southeast of Wichita. These events provide opportunities for participants to experience Burning Man culture, art, self-expression, and community closer to home.

Kansas Burners also participate in Regional Events throughout the surrounding area and have strong connections to Interfuse, the Midwest’s Official Burning Man Regional Event, held annually in Missouri, as well as other events in Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

Burners can be found throughout Kansas, with active community connections in Wichita, Topeka, Kansas City, and other communities across the state. Whether you’re new to Burning Man or a longtime participant, we encourage you to connect with local groups, attend Regional Events, and help build community in your area.
